Andrew E. A. Hulse
Director, Security and Facilities
Mr. Andrew 'Drew' Hulse joined PROTEUS in January 2006 as the company's dedicated Facility Security Officer (FSO). As of April 2007, Hulse was promoted to the Director of Security and Facilities and is responsible for managing PROTEUS' new secure facility and all personnel and physical security related issues.
Hulse has 17 years of security experience with numerous government agencies and contractors. Specifically, he was the Security Manager for the 902 MI Group at Fort Meade, and spent nearly 15 years as the Alternate Contractor Special Security Officer for Alion & Science Technology. He has also worked with clients such as the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Air Force Material Command (AFMC), National Security Agency (NSA), Department of the Army (DA), and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Hulse believes that when it comes to security, no corners can be cut, yet he understands the need to facilitate all PROTEUS employees to excel at their jobs.
Hulse spent seven years in the US Army which included tours at Fort Wainwright and Fort Richardson, Alaska. He graduated from the Military Intelligence Academy at Fort Huachuca, Arizona and completed his final 3 years of service at Fort Meade.
In his spare time, Drew enjoys watching foreign and independent films, English football, visiting his favorite tattoo parlor, and spending time with his wife and cats.
