PROTEUS’ President and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Teresa Taylor joined the company in her current capacity in the fall of 2001. Taylor directs PROTEUS with her vision of driving the company to success as a high-end, high-value solutions provider.

As President and CEO she firmly believes

  families, and their ultimate welfare
• The ability to observe, listen and respond
  to customer and employee concerns
• The ability to build, motivate, and retain a team of highly qualified personnel and then empower them with opportunities to lead in their own areas of expertise

Taylor's technical background includes a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Georgia, and an M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering, from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her technical experience has encompassed software development, web development, database administration, technical leadership and project management.

Throughout her 17 years of extensive software development experience, while working with State and National Government Agencies, Taylor has become keenly aware of various management styles, corporate goals, corporate cultures, employee wants and needs, IT market transformations, and ever changing customer expectations. This experience has provided her valuable insight to direct PROTEUS' strategic direction.

Taylor cherishes her spare time playing with her three children, exercising, golfing, volunteering with her Church, and occasionally playing piano.
