PROTEUS Technologies establishes a Center of Excellence for Advanced Oracle Services

Columbia, MD, December 15, 2006 - PROTEUS Technologies, LLC, a leader in software and systems engineering services and solutions, recently announced the formation of an internal Proteus Oracle Professional Services (PROS) Center of Excellence.

PROS is an organization of PROTEUS database engineers and system administrators who are exceptionally talented and certified in Oracle, capable of advanced Oracle implementations such as Real Application Clusters (RAC), Standby Database, Oracle Label Security (OLS) and Secure Audit.  Engineers supporting the Center of Excellence have a career average of over 15 years of database experience, and are capable of rapidly developing robust, efficient processes to implement highly optimized database solutions.  In fact, according to a PROTEUS Senior Engineer and PROS spokesperson, “the PROS approach to the implementation of OLS, performance tuning and scalability has reduced program startup time by half”.
