PROTEUS Team Strong Supporters in the
Walk to D'Feet ALS

Over 90% of PROTEUS staff participate and generously
support the ALS Association

Baltimore, MD, October 15, 2007 - For the 3rd annual Walk to D’Feet ALS at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, the PROTEUS Technologies team turned out in force to support this worthy cause.  In their second year of participation, staff at the company and their families and friends showed solidarity and spirit as they once again came together as a team to raise awareness and funding to support the Mission of the ALS Association.

Walk to D'Feet ALS® is The ALS Association's national signature event. Now in its eighth year, approximately 150 Walks will be held around the country. In 2006, walkers nationwide raised more than $12 million in support of cutting-edge research and patient services programs.  The staff of the ALS Association helps families in their day-to-day struggle with ALS. All services are offered free of charge and are funded through donations, grants or events such as the Walk to D'Feet ALS®.

The PROTEUS Technologies Team kicked off this year’s walk along with one of the National Corporate Sponsors, Booz Allen Hamilton.  PROTEUS’ Associate HR Director and Walk Captain, Stephanie Moss, noted that PROTEUS was honored to be the recipient of two “Golden Shoe” Awards, as the top fundraising team and the team with the most registered participants.  She said, “I am proud of our team’s efforts in contributions, fundraising, and help in spreading the word about this devastating disease, they will have a tremendous impact on those suffering from ALS and their families.”
