PROTEUS Technologies Finalist in 2007 Anne Arundel County Technology Council (AATC) Award for Tech Company of the Year
![]()
Award honors outstanding innovators in the Technology Sector
Annapolis, MD, November 6, 2007 — PROTEUS Technologies was honored by the Anne Arundel Technology Council this evening as a finalist in the organization’s 2007 Tech Company of the Year. Force 3 took the top honor, while Syracuse Research Corporation rounded out the Top 3 finalists. This 3rd annual celebration of the County’s achievements in the technology arena was held at the Loews Annapolis Hotel in the heart of Maryland’s state capital.
PROTEUS was honored for its achievements in performing software and systems engineering for Federal Intelligence Agencies, providing innovative and versatile solutions to solve the complex challenges of its clients.
“PROTEUS is extremely pleased to be recognized by the AATC as one of the best technology companies in the Chesapeake Region,” states Karen Locke, PROTEUS’ Communications Director. “We are honored to receive this recognition on behalf of our team, whose passion for excellence continues to drive PROTEUS forward.”
The Anne Arundel Tech Council received over 30 nominations from a variety of accomplished technology businesses throughout the county. In a blind voting process, a 10-member selection committee spent two weeks examining the nominations and criteria and then voted on the top contenders. Award categories included Tech Company of the Year, Innovator Award, Good Chip Award and Tech Service Company of the Year. The Tech Company of the Year Award is given to a company that has achieved significant milestones in the past year and demonstrates itself as a recognized force in the local technology community:
