Roger Poor Joins PROTEUS as Company's
New Chief Financial Officer

Poor, a Wharton Fellow, Brings Broad Leadership
Experience from Big 4 Firms

Annapolis Junction, MD, April 9, 2007 – PROTEUS has named Roger M. Poor as the firm’s new Chief Financial Officer. In an announcement made today by PROTEUS’ Chief Executive Officer, Teresa M. Taylor, the success and continued corporate growth of the company over the past 6 years necessitated the key hire.  Poor will provide strategic leadership and planning in the formalization of many critical Financial and HR business processes within the company.

“We believe that Roger’s experience with both small and large companies will augment our highly technical Senior Leadership Team and will help improve our corporate governance practices and position PROTEUS for the next ten years of continued growth. His reputation is outstanding and his experience with established consulting firms will be beneficial as PROTEUS continues to grow,” said Taylor. “We are pleased to have him on board.”

Poor has over 25 years of experience as a financial analyst, contracts expert and strategic planning consultant.  He has served as CFO of two other firms, one of which was SBA 8(a)-certified, and has also performed complex financial audits of major government contracts in a Big 4 Information Technology contracting environment. In addition to his experience in federal contract accounting and administration, Poor worked for many years as a management consultant and practice manager with firms including Ernst & Young.

Poor holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and B.A. from Princeton University.  He is widely traveled, including several years as Director of Management Consulting in Arthur Young & Company’s full-service Singapore office.

Poor will report directly to PROTEUS’ CEO, and his role and responsibilities within PROTEUS will include formulating the strategic corporate financial vision, formalization of PROTEUS’ business processes, including developing the “Balanced Scorecard”, and measuring and controlling business risk.
