PROTEUS Team Unites in the Walk to D'Feet ALS

Over 83% of PROTEUS staff participates to show their support in the fight against ALS

Baltimore, MD, October 8, 2006 - PROTEUS Technologies recently demonstrated their outstanding spirit of team and community service when over 83% of the company’s employees turned out to walk, or virtually walk in the 2nd annual Walk to D’Feet ALS® at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore.

The PROTEUS team was fortunate to become acquainted with The ALS Association and all the wonderful services they offer through their close partnership with another ALS sponsor & Walk Chairperson; Mr. Marty Hill of Booz Allen Hamilton. The ALS Association’s DC/MD/VA Chapter's Walks are part of a national effort in support of local patient services and nationally directed research. Last year the ALS Association raised a total of $9.1 million nationwide. Truly an amazing effort by the ALS community. The staff of the ALS Association helps families in their day-to-day struggle with ALS. All of those services are offered free of charge and are funded through donations, grants or events such as the Walk to D'Feet ALS®.

According to PROTEUS Executive Vice President Chuck Taylor, “Our team pulled together to help make a difference in the lives of all ALS patients and their families.” The PROTEUS team raised over $10,000 to support the families helped by the ALS Association.
