Leadership touts steady growth, infrastructure improvements as key to sustained success
Columbia, MD, August 10, 2006 — PROTEUS Technologies, LLC has announced that they will soon be opening a second office in the highly sought after National Business Parkway (NBP). PROTEUS has seen significant growth in the past few years, earning the company several accolades in Deloitte & Touche’s annual list of fastest growing technology companies in Maryland and North America (In 2005, PROTEUS ranked #1 in Maryland and #62 in North America). Driving the need for facility expansion is both overall growth, as well as well as the addition of client requirements to relocate contractors off-site.
PROTEUS will house its Corporate Headquarters in the NBP, more specifically in the first floor of building 133, formerly occupied by Applied Signal Technology. PROTEUS’ CEO, Teresa Taylor notes, “Our new Headquarters location will be much more accessible to our technical staff that work in off-site spaces and will position us much closer to our partners and Government customers.”
At the same time, PROTEUS Engineering Services will be able to expand into the Columbia Gateway office suite. The overall infrastructure investment will include redecorating and refurnishing both offices, the addition of new state of the art modular furniture as well as decorative lighting, art work, paint and carpet. PROTEUS is targeting the early fall to take occupancy of the NBP office space and to complete the redecorating of the Columbia Gateway office. Teresa’s enthusiasm for the new facility, “We have been interested in obtaining space in this office park for several years, so we are very excited about this expansion!” founded on her belief in steady success and managed growth, is an evocation of the bright future of PROTEUS Technologies, LLC.
